About Me

My photo
Pictures and ramblings of the day to day

Tuesday's gone with the wind.

Yesterday was the first day that you could smell the spring coming.  It reached 50 degrees and the sun was shining.  By nighttime it was cold again, but I'm yearning for the no care warm days to come.  The days when it doesn't matter what time you wake up because you have the whole day ahead of you to do things outside and not care.  Laundry day?  No worries, stop and get a smoothie on the way to the laundromat.  Cleaning day?  That's everyday for me but when you can open the windows and air things out it helps a lot.  And now, I live in Brooklyn.  Endless possibilities, but what do I have over the Manhattanites?  The BEACH!   I can go whenever, to whichever beach I want, and be home in time to go to work by 5pm with a tan.

I shouldn't get ahead of myself though, it is after all, only February.  :(  But what is life without optimism?  This whole week is supposed to be warm so I will be smelling the flowers before they are here, and you can continue worrying about what sweater to wear to work.  Ciao everyone-- think happy thoughts.
